Radomiak Radom is at the center of a doping scandal. The Polish Anti-Doping Agency has reported a suspicion of breach of anti-doping control rules in one of the Polish clubs. This refers to Radomiak Radom. The breach allegedly occurred on October 5 during an anti-doping control after a training session of Constantin Galki's team. POLADA Director Michał Rynkowski confirmed that the case is ongoing. One of Radomiak's players and a member of the staff are suspected of violating anti-doping regulations. This concerns article 2.5 of the anti-doping regulations, i.e. manipulating an element of anti-doping control. Radomiak Radom denied any breach of regulations. The club provided POLADA employees with all necessary assistance to ensure the proper conduct of the control. Club spokesperson Damian Markowski also denied any breach of regulations. All players selected for anti-doping control after the training session were at the disposal of POLADA employees, carrying out their instructions, and undergoing tests. The tests yielded a negative result. Radomiak Radom currently occupies eighth place with 18 points after 13 matches. The next match will be played on Sunday, November 5, when they will face Legia Warszawa. And so, Radomiak Radom fans are waiting impatiently for the resolution of this case. But for now, the club must focus on upcoming matches. So, Radomiak Radom will fight for every point to stay in the top half of the table. Luiz Gustavo Novaes Palhares, or Luizao, is one of Radomiak Radom's key players. The Brazilian joined the club in February 2022, but the start was not easy for him. He rarely found a place in the lineup and was overlooked by the coach. Only this season has he become one of the key players. He has already played in 10 matches and spent a total of 832 minutes on the pitch. A potential disqualification would therefore be a significant weakening for Radomiak. Oktawian Moraru, the club's sports director, is also suspected of violating anti-doping regulations. Michał Rynkowski, POLADA director, said that the organization has revealed the names of individuals suspected of violating regulations. One of these individuals is Oktawian Moraru, and the other is Luiz Gustavo Novaes Palhares, or Luizao. Radomiak Radom must now wait for the further course of the case. The club is ready to cooperate with POLADA to clarify all ambiguities. And so, Radomiak Radom fans can be calm that the club is doing everything to solve this problem.
