Radomiak Radom makes a decision on coach Maciej Kędziorek, who has been working at the club since December. Spring 2024 is not a good time for Radomiak Radom. Maciej Kędziorek's team has scored only eleven points in eleven games, more than only Śląsk Wrocław and Ruch Chorzów. After a defeat in a prestigious match against Korona Kielce 0:4 last Sunday, Radomiak again lost four goals, losing to Zagłębie Lubin 3:4. And although the club from Radom is twelfth in the league table, it has only four points more than the relegation zone. Despite the fact that this season was supposed to be an opportunity for Radomiak to strengthen its position in Ekstraklasa and play for the top half of the table, Radomiak will not be fighting for survival for the first time. Their poor results made the future of coach Maciej Kędziorek very uncertain. The club from Radom debated about dismissing the 43-year-old coach, who has been working at Radomiak for only a few months. So Maciej Kędziorek presented a plan to the board to get out of the crisis, which was accepted. However, as Weszło reports, the final decision of Radomiak is that Maciej Kędziorek will remain the coach of the first team. This solution was also consulted with the players of the Radom team, who assured that they want to take responsibility for maintaining Radomiak in Ekstraklasa with the current coach. This decision, in turn, brings Octavian Moraru, the sports director of Radomiak, closer to leaving the club. He was convinced that a change of coach should take place in Radom, but the club's authorities rejected his several Romanian candidates for a new coach. In the next round, Radomiak will play away against Legia Warszawa. This match will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 17:30.
