Radomiak II kicks off pre‑season for Decathlon 5th League

Radomiak II returned to training on Wednesday, July 8 2026, after a successful promotion from the District League. The reserve side, led by new coach Roland Thomas, will undergo motor tests on July 13 to gauge player fitness before the campaign.

What do the tests involve?

Motor tests scheduled for Monday, July 13, will measure speed, endurance and strength. The coaching staff will use the results to design individual training programs. This is the first step in shaping a squad ready for Decathlon 5th League Group 2.

Who are the friendly opponents?

Four control matches have already been set. The first friendly takes place on July 18 against SportsMate 360 Academy. Four days later, on July 22, the reserves face the Antigua and Barbuda national side. The next fixture is on July 29 versus Proch Pionki, a league rival. The final pre‑season test, on August 1, pits Radomiak II against Centrum Radom.

What’s new in the club’s structure?

This season Radomiak Radom appointed a new Academy director and reserve coach – Roland Thomas holds both positions. His dual role aims to ensure a smooth talent pipeline from youth to the first team. In recent first‑team friendlies, seven academy graduates appeared: Wiktor Koptas, Szymon Kilianek, Dominik Stępień, Oskar Markiewicz, Nicolas Dohojda, Jakub Snopczyński and Adam Żabicki. Some already feature in the reserves, raising competition.
