Radomiak Radom confirmed today that Brazilian left‑back Conrado Buchanelli Holz has joined the squad on a permanent deal. The transfer from Romanian ASC Otelul Galati was completed, with the player signing a contract until 30 June 2028 and receiving shirt number 97.
Who is Conrado?
Conrado was born on 3 April 1997 in Ajuricaba. He began his career at Gremio Porto Alegre's academy, playing six matches for the senior side. In 2018 he moved to Oeste FC, then to Figueirense FC, fighting for a place in Brazil's Série B. In 2020 he started his Polish adventure, spending five years at Lechia Gdańsk – 108 Ekstraklasa games, 5 goals and 22 assists. After a brief return to Atletico Goianiense in 2025, he headed to Romania in March.
What does he bring to the team?
Last season in Romania Conrado logged 29 appearances and eight assists, making him one of the league's most productive defenders. His Ekstraklasa experience and ability to attack from the flank should help Radomiak in its push for a better league spot. The club currently sits 10th in the Ekstraklasa, with 44 points from 34 games (11W‑11D‑12L) and a recent five‑match run of LLLLW. They have conceded 53 goals, scored 52, and sit 16 points behind leaders Lech Poznań.
What are the immediate challenges?
Coach Tomasz Kaczmarek will need to integrate Conrado into a system where left‑wing backs often support the attack. The latest result – a 6‑2 defeat to Górnik Zabrze on 23‑05‑2026 – highlighted defensive frailties that need fixing now. The new signing has a chance to turn things around, especially with upcoming fixtures against Dynamo Kyiv.
What’s next?
Conrado will start training with the squad on Monday, and his debut is slated for the next league match against Piast Gliwice. Fans will see him in action within the week, and the club hopes his contribution will accelerate a climb back toward the top of the table.
