Conrado signs with Radomiak Radom – the biggest summer transfer
Radomiak Radom announced on Wednesday that Brazilian left‑back Conrado joins the squad on a five‑year deal, lasting until 30 June 2028. He was bought from Romanian side ASC Oțelul Galați for about €100 k and already boasts Ekstraklasa experience, with 108 matches, 5 goals and 19 assists. The new signing brings technique and attacking freedom, which the club needs after the recent 6‑2 defeat to Górnik Zabrze (2026‑05‑23).
What happened?
Conrado, 27, spent the last two seasons at Oțelul Galați, but his Polish career began at Lechia Gdańsk, where he played from 2020‑2025. After leaving Lechia, where he impressed fans with 19 assists, he set out for new challenges. The transfer to Radomiak was confirmed in an official press release, with the contract running until summer 2028.
Why does it matter for Radomiak Radom?
The club currently sits 10th in the PKO Ekstraklasa with 44 points after 34 games (11W‑11D‑12L) and a recent form of LLDWW. Radomiak's defence needs a fresh boost, and Conrado brings top‑level experience. His Brazilian technique and ability to support the attack could help improve a goal balance of 52 scored and 53 conceded – a minus‑one difference.
What are the prospects after the transfer?
Alongside Conrado, Radomiak added Kacper Karasek (free transfer), Fernand Goure (KVC Westerlo) and Bartłomiej Gradecki (Ruch Chorzów). Departures such as Leandro (retirement) and Salifou Soumah (loan end) open spots for new talent. If Conrado maintains his Lechia level and injects offensive flair into the back line, Radomiak could aim for a higher table position and close the 16‑point gap to leaders Lech Poznań.
What’s next?
Radomiak’s manager, Michał Probierz, emphasized that the newcomer must adapt quickly to the team’s tactics. The first training session is scheduled for next Monday, and fans hope Conrado will bring South‑American ease to the side, potentially translating into better results in upcoming fixtures. Will the new left‑back become a key piece in reversing the recent losing streak? Only time will tell, but expectations are high.
