Radomiak Radom is facing new challenges in Polish football related to a project from the Polish Football Association (PZPN). According to the new guidelines, Polish players must appear in the match squads of Ekstraklasa and 1. Liga teams. There is talk of a requirement for 8-10 players with Polish passports in a 20-man squad. This could significantly impact Radomiak Radom's transfer strategy, which has primarily focused on acquiring foreign players.

Following their recent victory over Lechia Gdańsk, Radomiak Radom is almost certain to remain in Ekstraklasa. If the new project is approved by PZPN, the club will need to change its approach to transfers. Currently, Radomiak's squad includes goalkeepers Filip Majchrowicz, Wiktor Koptas, and Michał Jerke, as well as players like Jan Grzesik, Rafał Wolski, and Michał Kaput.

It is also worth noting that Leandro Rossi will end his career after the match against Lech Poznań, which may influence the club's transfer decisions. Radomiak Radom also has three other Poles in the squad: Oskar Markiewicz, Adam Żabicki, and Mikołaj Molendowski.

The PZPN board meeting scheduled for May 14 will be crucial for the future of this project. Radomiak Radom must be prepared for potential changes that could affect its team-building strategy in the upcoming seasons.
